Hello,
I am trying to create a tracker for just one vertex in my skinned mesh.

The tracking is set up through XPresso. When I trace the object in Tracer, it starts at the wrong position.

It seems to be the last position of the animation. I have attached my scene file, Tracer.zip

Can you please suggest how I might fix this?

Hi blastframe,

I would use a Point-Cache and store the mesh (the Skin has to be off.
This avoids all priority problems.

If you want to set it back, go to frame zero, disable the cache and switch the Skin back on.

I have sorted the Xpresso X-Manager and set the Xpresso back to Priority Xpression 0

Yes, priorities …

The other way would be, to get a copy of the Tracer on the last frame, make that one editable and delete the first point.
