Hi, my hair objects disappear. I have to reroot and grow everytime the timeline ends. Any thoughts?

There are a few plugins that I have not installed. I do not see the problem in those, but I need to mention it. Whenever possible, just the parts of a scene file which is able to reproduce the question content. Thank you.

I would change two things in your set up.

First, give every selection a unique name. (It should work even with the same name, but 11 object and four Hair objects, confused me))
Second, do not scale down to zero while hair is involved. Hair has no idea what to do when the polygon has a size of zero.

File “…_01.c4d” works just fine, and “…02.c4d” does not at all. File 02 was scaled to zero.

If you need to some of the “actors” to disappear, use the Visibility options (Attribute Manager> Visible in Render) and animate those.

Thank u very much Dr. Sassi! Sorry its messy is not my file, and yes, i tried without scaling to 0 and worked. Also the names i agree, i scream on the top of my lungs at the studio hehe. Thanks again!

Thanks for understanding my wish for a “core” file, not that I’m lazy, but with a list of missing plugins, the search is quite weird, to say the least. It is impossible to have all available plugins while having no budget for them, not to mention all the different hardware.
