First, I apologize for my ignorance. First time playing with Prorender. I watched a couple tutorials, and I tried to create a simple render.  No matter what I do, the materials are always “white”.
the first image is the non-rendered screen shot. the second is after a Prorender.

Hi Georgia Hilton,

Thanks for the file.

Please go to your Render Settings>ProRender.
There you have Offline and Preview tabs, both have the option to switch the Render mode. If set to Ambient Occlusion, the result will be a mostly white image.

Set it to Global Illumination for the full quality, or for a faster limited view, use it without shadows.

I ask for a scene file pretty much all the time, as I can’t tell if the material set up might cause it or other settings.

All the best
