I’m a little confused (as always).  I am working with the Character object.  In the BASIC tab there are choices of templates to work with… Tentacle, Alien, etc.

But in the OBJECT tab under Build I don’t have the same list. Some of the templates are the same but there are different ones from the BASIC tab.

I watched the Tutorials on Character Object but it doesn’t address this. 

Why are they different?  The Basic tab doesn’t seem to translate to the actual Object Build.

The dropdown in the Basic tab is for setting an initial scale for the object. The objects in the list represent preset scales for certain types or rigs. Generally you are best off finding the actual size of your character and then setting this scale manually.

The build tab contains the actual existing templates that you can create.
