Linear Deformer Scripts

Hi and sorry but I don’t understand why the script takes in consideration the bounding box of the object instead of the bounding box of the selection which makes a lot more sense to me. I’m trying to use this good script in my work as I do with falloff in modo but I have to resize the falloff and change the offset to make it work so that it’s a lot faster to export my object to modo, do the deformations there and get back to Cinema. Is this the way the script works or am I doing something wrong? In the first case, any chance to have new version of this script that works with the bounding box of the selected vertices?

Thanks a lot in advance and HAPPY EASTER!

AFAIK there is no BB for selections in python.
We will note the issue, and see what can be done.

The one thing I know for sure is that a change is not likely to occur fast.
Bret is now at Disney, and Rick is gearing up for NAB.
