Hi all,

I’m trying to generate large point clouds resembling 3D scans. I’m currently experimenting with generating Thinking Particles on geometry.

I need to render in RedShift for other reasons. When I render the particles as ‘point instances’ the points that are closer to the camera are bigger. I’d like to have uniform size ‘blips’ regardless of distance to camera.

Any tips as to how to achieve this?

Hi Barend,

I have no information about an RS option that would work like Sketch and Toons or RG Trapcode with C4D Models in After Effects.

You can set up the scene with MoGraph.

It works only inside the Linear Falloff and for Cloners with the Plain Effector included. Any change will require parameter adjustments.

Please note that a different field of view will require an adjustment of the Linear Field. This can be put into a formula if needed.
