hey i am having a little problem putting some pants on my character, the pants fit a little odd and they wont fit exactly on my character if i make it bigger, they are going to be too long, if i make them smaller they are going to be to thin, is there a way for me to delete the legs of my character or atleast partial part of the legs like the mesh so that you cant see the legs at all , these are example of the pants and character.

Hi julopez,

More often than not, what is covered by cloth has no body-parts inside of it. Deleting would be an option. (Point mode, select what you want to go away and delete it.

However, this can’t be easily undone, later on, so make a copy first. Also, perhaps just select the parts you don’t need, create a Selection Tag, and place this into a Material Tag. The Material in this Tag has only the alpha channel active to have those areas invisible. Later you can show more or less with that method if needed.

The Jeans can be scaled only in the Y direction, so they don’t get larger in total.

Adjust the legs, so they fit the Jeans, then bind it.

If there is anything that needs more information, let me know.

Hi julopez,

You’re very welcome.

You need to use a material not showing in the rendering. Typically, an alpha channel should do that while anything else is switched off.
(Transparency with no refraction nor any reflection should be possible. But I would suggest to use an Alpha channel.)

All the best
