Motion Clip in Cinema4D Lite?

I am following an online tutorial that imports Fuse 3D models and animates the various animations together.  However, to do this I need to use Animate/Add Motion Clip. But in my Lite version it is not visible. Does this mean that this function is not available in the C4D Lite version?

If so, is there a workaround?

Hi accounts,

If you receive an Animation System based file, typically, it can be played in AfterEffects. The Lite version has no option to create nor alter the clips.

Any possible workaround seems nearly impossible, as most parts of a character animation workflow are not available, while supported to a certain degree, to keep the given animation. In other words, my little test with the current version broke the set up at the moment I wanted to expand on it.

I hope at least my answer helps to save some time.

My best wishes.
