Is there a way to extract this seashore from this mesh? Sorry for the lack of description.

I know that some would say you can use a plane object for that. I’m not arguing against it, but I like to do it with volumes instead.

However, I’m am after the water body itself (the yellow portion above). and not the land body.
Correct me if I’m wrong but you extracted the land body.

Bentraje, You wanted this part extracted, as in your sketch. No idea what you are seeing. This is the part of the file. Going by post #2, you wanted this part now subtracted? Same story, only a different direction to extrude the volume.
