Hi guys, before R20 I was using the “Make Square” Plugin to switch polygons to perfect squares with one click,
Is there something around doing this little job in R20? I’m really missing this.

I have searched the “Make Square” plugin, but I can find it at all.

If you check out the NitroCycle, while it only one polygon is selected, and the Round parameter is set to zero, you might come very close to a square. Again, it works just for a single polygon.

Other than that, the Instant Mesh will perhaps help here

Of course, a whole mesh into squares would alter the shape drastically, hence why I tried to find the plugin to see what to expect in the first place.

I would encourage to write to the author of the plugin, to produce a Python script.

sorry for my late reply… I had to search a lot…the plugin is from Matthias Bober aka bobtronic…
it was C4D R6 back then ;D.
I did as you suggested and dropped Matthias a mail.
Lets see. Fingers crossed

I’ll also check nitrocycle because I’m looking for exactly this one polygon option.
