Timeline: Using the region tool in reduced modification mode

Hello,

I want to scale my keyframes to increase the duration of a baked object, but if I do it directly with the region tool, it creates gaps between the keyframes which are not interpolated correctly.
So I thought if I changed to reduced modification mode, I could stretch the keyframes more accurately, but my region tool doesn’t seem to work when I stretch it. I made a gif to demonstrate, attached.

Thanks!

Hi Nick N,

I’m not aware that the Reduced Modification Mode works with the Region Tool. Since hte Region Toll can handle all Key frames, why go into the Reduced Modification Mode to begin with. What do I miss?

If you think it is a application problem, please check with the support:

Otherwise, I can only check out more with a scene file (please reduced to the problem and no 3rd part in it, nor settings, e.g., renderer)

Cheers.

Sorry, I wasn’t concentrating! the “time lock” button was enabled for my keyframes, and that’s why it wasn’t working!

HI Nick,

I guess a scene file would have been helpful here.

Please notice that I should have been more precise, the Region Tool doesn’t affect the keyframes directly, while in Reduced Modification mode; I thought that was the target here. Yes, it does has an effect on the Reduced Modification Curve keys.

I’m glad you found it.

Cheers
