I am sure there is a simple answer for this but when I try an import Open EXR or TIFF files that I have rendered (standard) from R19, After Effects does not see them.
I rendered out and an MP4 and it sees and imports that without issues. Stills that I have rendered out in R18 previously, work fine with no problems.

Hi blairscott,

Can you share a single OpenEXR file and the a scene file that has the exact render and save settings? No scene content needed. Thanks.

I have no problems here. R19 to Ae CC 2017.

All the best

What I did was to add a suffix to the file as in “.exr” (without the quotes of course.)

One additional suggestion, leave spaces out of the file name as well, use underscores or anything, some servers have problems to read empty spaces. I know, I had many discussions about this, but I never had problems with underscores, with spaces—I had.

Thanks for putting you name into the file, very much appreciated, as I get each year a four digit amount of files!

All the best
