How do I roll back my version of cinema to the previous version. I’m currently running service update 17.053 but need to roll back to service update 17.048 for Cinema 4D and BodyPaint 3D R17. Service update 17.053 is not playing nice with my system. :(

I assume that you have no back-up at all.

The MAXON site has unfortunately no previous R17 version besides the latest.

Please contact the support to get your problem on file and find a solution.

This is my clients computer and they don’t have backups of the individual systems. During install of an update doesn’t C4D make a copy of the installer on the system somewhere. I don’t remember what those options are but I swear there was an archive option or something like that. I’ll contact support as well. Thanks!

The back up copy is an option, not a default setting. You would have had to specify a path to create that copy.
