I created the vehicle that drives aligned to a spline. I attached an Expression rotation to one of the wheel to share with the rest of wheels and the vehicle is moving on the spline. I learned there are a Connector and a Motor to do the same job. I created a similar vehicle, then I connected Front Wheels (Obj.A) and a Car (Obj.B); likewise, I connected Back Wheels (Obj.A) and a Car (Obj.B). I assigned Dynamics Rigid Body tags to all geometries. I changed Torque value to 100. When I press PLAY, this vehicle does not run, stays still and just one wheel is turning. I checked the Handbook for a Connector and a Motor…, but still not following. Am I missing something to make this vehicle driving?

I was trying to attach the c4d file; however, the file type of c4d is not allowed. The accepted file types are described as “psd, pdf, swf, sit, tar, tgz, zip, gzip, bmp, gif, jpeg, jpg, jpe, png, txt, html, doc, docx, xl, xls, flv, mov, qt, mpg, mpeg, mp3, aiff, aif, aac.” So, would you please download my file here? http://myuploadedfiles.pbworks.com/w/page/109142737/FrontPage

Yes, a zip file is needed, compressed and with this, the “zip” works like a protection container. Even I can send c4d files, I most likely zip them.

Sorry about the file upload problem, and this happens even to the files with the right suffix from time to time. I had send an PM to you already with an upload link.

The scene file contains no motor. Just a door and a ball, etc. Would you mind to tell me what you like to have here? I made it work, if that was the question.

As in one Siggraph presentation today (Archer), the presenter made a point that I have mentioned here often as well: they do not use dynamics for cars, in favor of fast set ups and full control. Just as a reminder. :o)
