Cineversity

Hi, I am on C4d V17, when I draw a spline, and I am finished, I am pressing the escape button to then be able to manipulate my points, but my spline disappears, although I can see a spline in the object manager, please tell me what I am doing wrong?, maybe a preferences issue? thank you, Craig
