ok, I hope I make sense…I am currently weighting a dog mesh to an advances quadruped rig. I’ve bound it to the mesh and know I’m painting in the joint weights now. everything was going smoothly except after I animated a limb to see how my weighting looks, I go to point mode to loop select and my mesh seems to no longer be influenced by the joints( the joints are animated but no longer is the mesh bonded) I go Bach to object mode and the mesh moos just fine. my question is , how to I get my mesh to move along with the joints while I ‘m in points mode and using the weight manager. Bret Bays’s weighting tutorials, he was able to have his mesh move with the joints in point mode.
