Thanks

Hi ifaguy,

I had no idea what you asked for, so I googled it.

I found at the C4D Cafè a mentioning of such “script”:

http://www.c4dcafe.com/ipb/c4dplugins.html/drop-to-floor-v11-r50/

If I try to go from there, the link ends in a dead URL (even truncating it to the “http://www.kuroyumes-developmentzone.com” ends in an 404).

Perhaps you might ask directly in the C4D Cafè forum what happen, I’m sure they know if there was a development.

All the best

Sassi

Thanks for the reply.
I have been searching for it and have run into that dead end.
I didn’t know if it has been moved or renamed or even added to C4D itself since it is such a basic function.

Thanks

I had no idea that you found that, so I’m not the only one running into the #404 thingy. Thanks for the feedback.

I guess I state here only the obvious, which is normally an insult for all who have to listen to that (my deepest apologize here!), but I guess since Houdini is so closely connected, a PSR “script” (animation?) sounds like old school compared to the options we have now.

I’m certain it doesn’t take long to find a script that does what you need, since a lot of people are very skilled with Houdini and certainly love to share/sell their stuff.

Athanasios mentioned that more is coming to various outlets. Perhaps sending wishes to such places seems just the right action to do. A water drop and splash of it might be one typically suspect of standard scripts…

Of course, I have no idea what water-drop animation is wanted here, “toonish”, realistic, or dramatic, perhaps “Phantom 25,000++ frames per second like details”

My best wishes
