Loft NURBS or better

I have to model a hair product tube that is not a symmetrical shape and I have tried a number of different ways to accomplish this but none worked for me. I thought I could use a loft NURB and my life would be good again but unfortunately my life is still sad. The problem is when I try to use a loft NURB it has to go from a round shape to rectangular shapes smoothly. This is the point of total failure. I have tried box modeling, using a cylinder and even a capsule as start up shapes but I couldn’t get what I needed.

I am at a loss here and in dire need of some help, so if anyone can give me a clue to how to go about this I have to thank you ahead of time. I need to pull this off today for a product on Monday. I am not sure how to approach this and make it work. I am attaching the product shot so it will be easy to understand what I need to do.

Any help would be more than appreciated.

Gregory

HI Gregory,

If everything fails for you, and there is not even a sketch, how can I possibly help you?

Just to get something to talk about, here is a little idea.

Have a nice Sunday

An alternative, and two other option—perhaps even better. All based on a similar concept, but on a cube as base, which can be “box-modeling” at any time as well.
The key is to find the balance…

I hope it works at least as brainstorming.
