Hi Emmanuel,

You might check with the support: http://www.maxon.net/support/support-questions.html

I’m not clear how the Progressive Render (in Physical-Rendr mode) can be influenced by a mouse movement. I’m not aware of any other rendering option with that name in C4D.

Or do you have the IRR—the Interactive Render Region in mind? But even there, If nothing in the scene moves/changes—it shouldn’t be. Perhaps I miss something (edit: a combination of both? /edit), will say, this sounds like a support case.

All the best

Hi, thanks for the quick feedback, maybe its a windows issue. Yes, I mean the Interactive Render Region, I set the PR to progressive, and as soon as I move the mouse, the interactive render region is updated, which is to me quite annoying.
I thought that was normal in Cinema…

Thanks for the additional information. The progressive render (Physical) in conjunction with the IRR shows the same result here on a Mac, just to exclude the Windows suspicion.

I guess that there is a conflict of interest, to be left alone (Progressive) and being in communication (Interactive). I never have used this combination nor think I will.

Perhaps the support can share some ideas about, hopefully different then mine.

All the best
