Hello,

I’m working on a shot of water condensation with one droplet trickling down the wall using thinking particles with particle geometry wrapped in a metaball object.  When I preview the droplet using the render region command, the metaball renders perfectly, but when I render the full scene to the picture viewer, the metaball object does not appear.  I assume it’s because the animation isn’t playing itself out during the rendering process…

My questions are, what am I doing wrong?  Do I need to bake the animation before rendering?  If so, how?

Please help, I’ve tried everything.

EDIT: I didn’t include the textures, so sorry in advance for the error messages.

Hi there,

The Metaball has two settings, one for the “Editor View” and one for the “Rendering”—See image (it is from your scene).

If they are different, the results will differ as well.
