Congratulations on what appears to be a fantastic update to Cinema 4D!!

Where my modelers at?  Am I the only point pushing, vert herder freaking out over how awesome the PolygonPen tool looks?  The new functionality of the Symmetry tool is going to save me so many steps on each model. Using materials as masks or stencils/stamps in sculpting is brilliant as nearly any surface quality can be approximated using C4D’s procedural shaders.

I’m excited to watch the presentations next week and I can’t wait until September.

I guess you’re certainly not alone. The “Polygon Pen” might take some days to become second nature—because it has so many options, but then…!
We will see quite some new aesthetics in the modeler world based on this fast and direct approach of creating, I assume.

Yes! The Siggraph presentations are certainly something worth to wait for. I love this intense time, twice a year (NAB/Siggraph).

I hope you get your hands ASAP on the new tools. Enjoy.
