View Plussing
Plussing is a term used by professionals in animation to add that extra “something” or polish to an animation, above and beyond the assumed requirements of the shot. The term has been around since the Disney days, and often involves adding little touches to finesse a performance or effect. While some may think that such efforts will go unnoticed, when taken as a whole, there always seems to be a difference without plussing for some reason. Once practiced, plussing can get to be second nature, and effectively separates the pros from the hacks.
