View Gradient

A Gradient is a ramp of value or color that interpolates between values.  Gradients can be used directly in an image, often as a background, or they can be incorporated within shaders.  Gradients are so powerful that every DCC application uses them in one from or another.  They are easy to use and easy to control.  Quite often, you provide starting and ending colors, with inbetween colors as needed.  Then, you choose the interpolation method for the colors or values, and that’s it!  You’re done, and the gradient is ready to go to work for you.
