Educational Licensing Options

Lab Seat Licenses

MAXON can help you set up floating lab seats of Cinema 4D Studio (our all inclusive version) for your classrooms. Perpetual C4D Lab Seat licenses are available at a very low cost and come with a License Server at no extra charge. The License Server can be installed on any computer at your institution and it does not require a designated machine.

Faculty and Student Licenses ($295)

With a generous run time of three years (North and South America only), this educational version of Cinema 4D gives you all the power of our most robust Cinema 4D Studio software. As with all educational software, this is a learning edition and the work created cannot be used for commercial purposes. For students and faculty who purchase this version, there are deep discounts on future releases of Cinema 4D should you wish to upgrade to a commercial license.

Limitations: Limited to educational use only. Three-year runtime. No functionality limitations.

Free Student Licenses

This unique program allows schools to submit a very simple online application which (if approved) allows the students to download a free 18-month version of the latest Cinema 4D for their own personal educational use. This does not serve as a substitute for in-class educational lab seats but rather a free supplemental exposure of C4D for the students.

Limitations: Limited to educational use only. 18-month runtime. Does not support 3rd party plugins or network rendering.

1on1 Training

1on1 Live Training is the affordable, hands-on, and personalized way for you to acquire the Cinema 4D skills you desire. Training is conducted live, online using a direct connection between you and your private instructor. Your live, online training can be accessed from your home, office or anywhere you have access to a computer with a broadband internet connection. Free sessions are available to educators who want to jumpstart their Cinema 4D knowledge.
