View Blocking

Blocking is the process of roughing in a camera move or shot layout with minimal animation, using approximation of the final mesh and scene assets.  Camera moves and object motion placement is typically done at this stage of the animation process, and in some cases, you may see more than just oibject placement motion.  The idea is to capture the basic camera locations, pacing and timing for the shot.  Lighting is not typically placed a this stage, with the exception of scene lighting to make the elements visible.
