Non Linear Animation is all about being non destructive in your animation workflow. Not only with clips of premade motions, but also being able to layer animation so that one layer does not destroy the previous, but either overrides or adds onto an existing animation. Animation Layers is the best way to block, build up or even tweak animations. It also allows easy modifications to complex baked animations of motion capture without ever having to ever edit or reduce the original complex animation.
