- In this video you'll learn how to move your cameras in space, view objects from multiple perspectives so that you can accurately place objects in the 3D world, and some tips and tricks for quickly framing parts of your scene. Do you like this helmet? Do you like this 3D model? Well, it's yours to keep if you pay attention to this tutorial. I know you'll watch it, but I thought I'd bribe you anyway. This helmet sits in our viewport, but you already knew that. On the top right of our viewport you see these four icons. This is the pan, click and drag. This is the dolly, click and drag. And this is the tumble, click and drag. Now mind you, the second one is dolly. It's not zoom, because it's the camera that's moving and the focal length stays the same. The shortcuts for these three buttons are one on your keyboard. You press one and you hold it down and you click and drag and you pan. You press and you hold two and you click and drag and you dolly. And you press and you hold three, click and drag, and you tumble. Dolly and tumble use a cursor mode, which means that wherever your mouse is when you click, when you're dollying, that's where you're going to go. Or when you tumble, that's where it's going to tumble from. And I'm talking about the object. For example, tumble around. I want to dolly inside here. Press two on the keyboard, click and drag and I can go all the way in to the finest details. I can tumble around. Then I can pan. I can pan. I can tumble. I can dolly. And as you can see, I can place my camera in very, very small places, fantastic. Now that we are lost inside the helmet. I want to find a way to frame my whole scene. If you go to the view menu and say, frame all or frame geometry, that's what's going to happen. So if you ever get lost, all you have to do is either frame default, which is a default three-quarters placement of the camera or you say something like, frame all and it will frame all of the geometry in your scene. If you wish to view your scene from an orthographic view, that is a view without perspective, you can click on the fourth icon. Click on this and you go to four views. As you can see, we're quite far away. All you have to do is click here and say, frame all. Or with your mouse over one of these viewports, press H. Go here, press H. And now we've framed the object in all four views. If you want to maximize any one of these views, all you have to do is go to the respective button, click it and it will maximize. And again, you can use the shortcuts to pan and dolly in and out. Again, go to four views and you can maximize the view again. I think it's a good time to say that Cinema 4D Lite has two undo stacks. So I'm going to select this object. So I'm gonna go here and select everything. And I'm going to rotate it. If I want to undo I either go edit, undo. Let me redo now. Or you go here, which is the other undo button. Or you press Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Z on your keyboard. But if you do some sort of motion with the camera and you undo. It doesn't undo the motion. If you want to undo your navigation motion, you have to go to view and undo view and undo view again and undo view again. What this allows us to do is separate any object modifications we do from any navigation modifications we do. And that way you won't run out of undos if you start moving around with your camera and doing lots and lots of clicks and modifications. To change the number of undos available to us go to the edit, preferences, and in the memory you'll see that our undo depth is by default 30. And you can set this to 1,000 and those are a lot of undos. Let me close this and remind you that now you know how to navigate in viewports, adjust them, frame objects and set your undo depth. And you also learned that paying attention gets you a 3D helmet model, jolly good.
Y voy a girarlo. Si quiero deshacer yo tampoco voy editar, deshacer.
