This in-depth series explores the basic concepts and methods for modeling in CINEMA 4D. Throughout the course of the series you will see how to create a mug, fork, and spoon using various methods of creation. The series begins by exploring the space that you will be working in, followed by a walkthrough of object creation using Generators and Deformers. This is followed up by simulating details with materials, specifically how to take advantage of bump maps. As the series progresses the videos will start to explore the possibilities opened up by polygon modeling. This will be done by building off of the geometry created from the extrude and lathe nurbs objects, using a modeling method known as box modeling, and finally building up the objects point by point.
