Does anyone know how to reset the selection tool on Cinema R12?
Thanks,
Jorge

Hi Jorge,

I assume that “Manual Reference>CINEMA 4D>CINEMA 4D Prime>Attribute Manager” with its information about “Setting Parameters Back to Default Value” is nothing new to you, and you ask for the selection tool, because it is grayed out for this tool.

(Note: I might missed it if that is now possible in a single click, hence I found nothing in the R12 manual about. I think the last time some asked here was four years ago +/-)

However, as you asked specifically about a specific tool, you might like to create your own presets for that tool (yes I used the plural here)

http://www.cineversity.com/vidplaytut/tool_presets

You might have to go to the Command manager, to the “Script Log” window (Scripting in his tutorial), to get the tool command.

If your question was more about how to get that tool to show up IN A NEW file as it would be default, perhaps you delete the preferences.

All the best
