Drift and overshoot

I want to add random drift to objects suspended in space. Is there a mograph function that will add that?

I’m preparing to simulate a sequence on a touch screen - with the actions triggered by swipes, taps and pinches. I know I can keyframe these and they’d probably work fine, but I sense there are much easier (and automated) techniques to create these motions. I haven’t used the simulate menu very much (a little scared of it actually) but keyframing dynamics is just nutty when the machine will do it for you (if you know the secret handshake).

Hi fordmar,

Please have a look here:

Press play, and after frame zero, move the red sphere to kick the other spheres into space.

Please note, that I have set Attribute Manager> Mode> Project Settings> Bullet> General> Gravity: to zero

Also, the Xpresso is only active on frame zero to put the red sphere back in the starting position.

Let me know if you have any questions; I’m happy to look into it.

Cheers
