Hi! So I’m quite new to Cinema4D and have been using these videos to help me out. When I convert my parented subdivision surface to Convert State to Object, it works however all the irregular polygons just become squares again. I followed the tutorial perfectly. The original model has the irregular polygons however the converted object does not?

Hi markjwalker104,

I have recreated the steps after minute four, and I get the result below:

https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/3RFg0p5lf3nMHLmf1haTYd59qHnR1q46AQCObCU267O

Yes, they are quads again but distributed differently, and they are the same as in the tutorial.

IF you have something else, please (always) share a scene file reduced to the problem parts. Thank you.

All the best
