Hello, this is my first time posting here.
I want to merge two motion capture data from cinema’s content browser into one character animation. I.e the second motion capture plays after the first. Which of cinema’s character object will I use for this.
Then I’ll also like to include some custom keyframes right at the end the entire motion capture data
How can I achieve this? I’ve been searching for tutorials on this

Hi gbenga.animator,

I would suggest the Motion system for this. Note that the joint rigs need to be identical. E.g., some rigs have a different setup or hierarchy, which will not work. Or perhaps show some shortcomings.

I like to have as a parent on each joint hierarchy a root object (a null). This is not always stressed by instructors. The Motion Tag should sit on that null.

Having said that, here is a series that might help:

Create a copy of your rig, animate this as you like, and then create a motion clip. This clip can then be used like a video clip in a film editor.

All the best
