Hey there,

I have a character setup using the toon rig and saved as an XRef for placement in another scene. I’m running into an issue where the placed XRef’s “bendy” controls (knees and elbows) appear to be inactive.

I’ll add that those controls (knees and elbows) can be moved in xyz, and doing so will deform the mesh. Scaling these controls, which appears to control the degree of bend the limb will have, has no influence. When I open XRef itself, everything appears to work as intended.

Any idea what would be causing this to happen?

If you scale and nothing happen, I’m kind of sure that you are in Model Mode.
This means you do not change the “scale”; you just move the points of the controller.

Go into Object mode, scale your controller (in XRef), and you should see a result.
