Hi,

How can I select procedurally the first and last clone only and keep adapting to whatever clone count?
I guess an expression within the formula effector?

Thanks!

Hi thanulee,

An example file would have been great, as the amount of cases one can set up clones is significant, and so is the way they are counted. You will see that the first [01] file will have no idea about the Cloner> Offset. (I have avoided putting just two statements into the Formula, as it reacted with a frame delay for the last one.)

Please have a look here for “Linear” based clones.

Many thanks! Will take a look!

I dont need it anywhere specifically for now therefore no scene file. I just needed index0 and last index of clones to be selected no matter circumstances or position etc.

Thanks for the feedback, thanulee; you’re very welcome.

I think file [02] should work then.

With that, you can create any setup via Inheritance to direct the Linear configuration to your liking.
