scaling a tracked camera

In the past, If I created a tracked scene, and exported it to my program, I was able to create a “world” null, attach the tracker and camera into the world null, and do any global scaling and rotating to my scene. I’ve tried the same technique in Cinema, it seems I can move and rotate, but not scale. It does the initial scale and looks great, but when I move the play head, it jumps back to the old size.
Can someone explain this technique? Yes, I know I can put more time into nailing the exact scale in my track output..but this should be an easy fix…not surer what I am missing here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi psussi,

Nice that you found what you are looking for. Not certain that I follow here at all.

The problem in your first post was not clear without a project file.

Note that scale is not working but rotate and position…

In Object-Mode, you change the Scale parameter; on Model-Mode, the points instead. This is a very distinct differentiation. This switch was not in every 3D app (back in the days) and lead to the split between modeling and animation, with an extreme cut in the workflow.
Since I understand that you found an answer,

Enjoy your project.

Ye..that was the difference. Oddly enough, I found several posts in my google search for the same reason, but hard to find that little tricky answer. But yea..now I own that little nugget of knowledge smile
Oh, the joys of switching 3d apps raspberry
Thanks for the ring in buddy. Glad to know you were lurking around in case I came up empty. Always appreciated.
