Hi,

Whn I do a Sweep with 16 n-side profile… why points are rotating… it should be straight front and back points equally divided like cylinder…?

When I do editable and noticed front and back edges and point are not straight…!

Am I doing something wrong or sweep behave like this…?

Thanks.

Hi Imran,

Looks all as it should when I open it here.

What do I miss? When I select a line of points, they differ only on P.Y.

Cheers

Thanks a lot, Imran, for clearing this.

The Problem seems to arrive at the moment more than one spline (segment) is in the Spline path object.

Option 1:

Use a rail

Option 2:
Set up separate and single path objects

The example on the right, a completely new setup, then merged, is able to reproduce the same problem.

You can use option 1 or 2 for now and /or contact the support.

Changing or rotating the points of the profile will cause problems elsewhere. I have checked all options.

All the best

Thank you, Imran.

I have filed a report about this.
It should work without the extra work I have suggested for now.

Thanks for bringing this up.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

All the best.
