I moved this post below, as it was a completely new question.

Hi Dr Sassi,

i reopen this thread for another question relative to fields and vertex map.
I would like the vertex map value to fall down to zero after going to 100. Imagine to contour or make an edge of the vertex map. Ideally the first thing that comes to my mind is to apply a contour mode curve on the remapping on the grow field and make a spline that goes from zero to 1 and to 0 again at the end. The result is a flickering vertex map (with a bit of reaction diffusion pattern) anyway gives a strange result.

The result I seek is the result you see in the material applied. but i wonder if it is possible to achieve it in the vertex map. Sorry for bothering you with this question but i can’t find anything on the topic.
I will pm you the file

Another question
Could you help me to find some good tutorials to dig in the technique of the pose morph you showed me in your file? Do you remember any resource related to that topic.

Thanx for your help

Hi giggiera,

I have moved this post, as mentioned above. I hope that is OK with you. Please always feel free to open a new thread. Otherwise, the headline of a single but multiple theme thread is useless. This doesn’t allow for a good search. Thanks for considering.

Please have a look at this file

In short: set up the grow effect as you like, and then use the Vertex map in a new Vertex amp and change the things as you like.

Let me know if there is any other question, I’m happy to look into it.

Pose Moprh, I would start with this series:

All the best
