This tutorial says that the “Sporty” rig is available in Content Browser… but I’m not seeing it. What folder within the content browser would that be? Would love to follow along.

Hi thomas.eaton,

If you have downloaded all currently available content, and if this content has been allowed to install itself, you should have it in R23.

Content Browser> Presets> Example Scenes> Disciplines> Sporty (sporty -swag walk.c4d)
Content Browser> Presets> Example Scenes> Features> Sporty (sporty - toon rig.c4d)

To be absolutely sure, I downloaded all content freshly, hence my hour delay in replying.

Please have a look at the attached images.

I hope that helps

Cheers

Thanks! I hadn’t downloaded “scenes” and from your screenshot it looks like it is there. Will do that—thanks again.

You’re very welcome, thomas.eaton, thanks for the reply.

I love to explore it each time, rather than to answer from memory. This has worked so far, very good.

Hopefully, you have the content soon on your screen. Let me know if something isn’t working, I’m happy to look into it.

ENJOY.

Dr Sassi
Professor Pfeifer

I do not see in the video of Sebastian Pfeifer the use of a Motion Capture; is that is included (the joints) on the Toon Rig Model which we find under the Object tab?

Best Regards

Hi yguerrero2010,

I have answered here:
https://www.cineversity.com/forums/viewthread/4511/

If you have a question, posting it one time is sufficient. However, here is the short answer:

The rigs are manually animated, so far, I can tell. From the information that I have gathered about this subject by now, the Toon-Rig is not easy to use motion capture, nor has it any preparation included to streamline that process.

All the best
