Hi Cineversity Team,

I am at the final stages of the Creating a Coral Reef Tutorial.
Render View and Render to Render Region shows all my Corals.
But Render to Picture Viewer half of my Corals are not showing up.

I presume, I am just missing something simple ?

PS.
I have added a sphere to the cloner, that shows up in the Picture Viewer

Hi nolanscott,

I have sent you an upload link. I’m happy to explore your scene.

Let try to solve this just with the c4d file, and I relink all abc files here from my disk.

Sorry that you encounter trouble.

Cheers

Hi Dr. Sassi,

Thank you very much for your reply.
I have just uploaded my Reef Terrain.c4d file to your dropbox.
Please let me know if you need more additional files.

Regards
Nolan

Hi Nolan,

Thanks a lot for the file. When I compare this to the Final Scene, the “abc” file names are not the same, nor are the Object Identifier IDs.

Can you confirm that all your abc file icons are in the way like in the image below?

More about the icon information:

All the best

Excellent, thanks, Nolan.

The only thing that didn’t show up had the same problem discussed in this post:
https://www.cineversity.com/forums/viewthread/4173/#16740

Please un-check the ‘Override Object for Render’ checkbox and let me know if all works for you.

BTW: The Anti Alias is set to Geometry, which covers the outside of the object, not textures.

Happy Render!

Hi Dr. Sassi,

Marvellous, un-check ‘Override Object for Render’  that did the trick grin
Everything renders fine now.

Thank you so much for all your help
