Basically I imported a daz avatar and add the tag collide body but for some reason the spheres that I cloned dont stick on the avatar.  I want them to move on the skin, Like the image that I attached. so how I achieve that?

Hi pinareris,

Here is an example
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/fvvVzChosDavw6XKar9zVoG9593cPXemWtwvA3C60yD

The question would be, what makes the spheres move? With the center sphere (example), it is possible to rotate this sphere (friction must be high.)
With a figure, you might check out to set up a Simulate> Forces> Wind object, and move the Wind Object.
Example:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/23xouo1QOe12teHQWuHbvU8NVxUa6jTdB7hhLV4IPYa

I can say more with a scene file and the idea about the movement of the spheres.

Thank you very much for the quick , reply, I will check your files and then probably post here a file because I am trying to make them move like around arm area, not everywhere

You’re very welcome, pinareris, thanks for the reply.

Please have a look here:

I have set a Cylinder where I assume the arms will be. This object rotating, while invisible — another option to get some movement established.
Note that I have placed on each arm an Attractor. The opposite Attractor is excluded [Force Tab] in the Dynamic Body Tag. It might work without this, but to have control per arm…

If there is anything else, I’m happy to look in the morning into it. (it’s midnight here).

My best wishes for your project.

Thanks Sassi for the replies , I will share with you later today or tomorrow after I try couple things because what I am trying to achieve is, little spheres are randomly rolling on the arm skin back and forth.

Thanks again for the reply, pinareris.

Perhaps have a look at this version:

I just animated the Cylinder in the way you have described your needs.

pinareris, please check the second half of the project time, the rotation changes after half of the time.

Or do you like to have some revolving in one and others in the opposite direction at the same time?

Cheers

Crossing posts: So the arms are not the axis, they are the directions?

may be this is better to explain what I am trying to do, so I am trying to move the spheres from that hand to the shoulder back and forth moving randomly

… and the arm is static or moves?
Spheres are placed around the arm or just on top as in the image?

arm is static, actually I am trying to place and move the spheres on top of the arm, but touching it as well, they are like rolling on the skin

Thanks for the additional information, pinareris.

With this information, I would suggest the following:

Take the Spline Sketch and draw a wiggly line from the hand to the shoulder. Click in the Object manager to deselect the object.

Draw now another from the shoulder to the hand. Click in the Object manager to deselect the object.
If you have a few of these, select all Spline objects, and set num*10 into the Position Axis that is so far flat for your object.

Press return.

Now go into Point Mode and use the Mesh> Move> Magnet tool. Move them closer together in a random way.

While all stay selected, Object Manager> Object> Connect Objects

This new spline is the position source: Mode> Object for the Cloner Object.

Add a Sphere and a Random Effector set only to Scale.

Add a Dynamic Tag, and set the Force> Follow Position to a higher value than zero.

In the Cloner> Object adjust the Amount, as well as the Rate value (This animates the Spheres)

Adjust the Force> Position of the Dynamic Tag to your liking.

You’re very welcome, pinareris.

You could take a spline that is close to the movement you like to have. Drawing with snapping on. Alternative: if the mesh is good, you might be able to select the edges that resemble the path and use the mesh> Conversions> Edge To Spline. Perhaps smooth this Spline a little bit.

Then move the Spline away from the arm in the radius of the sphere. There is no default option to just roll a sphere along a surface.

If you need to have the sphere rotating, you need to set up a Tracer, which creates a spline of the motion, This Spline has a length and can be used to calculate the rotation Xpresso). A second Spline might be needed to avoid flipping of the rotation.
