EPS support for cv-artsmart?

I’m doing some testing with some eps files.
These load into C4D, and can be extruded, but they seem to not work in cv-artsmart.

Seems a shame to have to fire up Illustrator just to convert from eps to ai.
Any chance cv-artsmart could support eps files in the future?
