Hello,

For my airplane I want to build a propellor.
I started with a spline and a clone.
But as you can see at my reference image, the propellor needs some kind of a bend deformer.
In my case, it does not work, because there are not enough lines on the spline.
Is there some way to deforme the propellor?

Thanks again.

Hi Annet,

You could place the Twist Deformer above the Subdivision Surface [SDS], and below the Parent for that group. In this way, the SDS will provide the needed subdivision.

Project File:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/EwLn0u3NRov6Uw2rbPWaR16efC8NzuOCvSzpXz5lOO5

Please click on the Twist Deformer and in the Attribute Manager, set the amount of Twist in the Object Tab.

You can change the outcome, even more, adjust the Positions as well the Rotations in the Coord. Tab.
An introduction to this deformer is here:

As a side note:
If you have an object with a small number of polygons, you could quickly add more by using the Knife tool, or just Main Menu> Mesh> Add> Subdivide. (Check out the little Cogwheel in the menu; here the Smooth Subdivision option.

All the best
