Cloner density along a spline

Hi, would it be possible to have less clones as they are on a spline progressively? Eg. in the start clones are very close to each other and towards the end of the spline they are further apart?
Cheers!

Hi thanulee,

This would be a way to do it:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/2HWEW41Z7h37b66mNhcIry6mAJp3tOCUpmgRm1tMg6j

Click on the Xpresso tag to see the interface, the curve will determine how these clones will be distributed.

I have some other ideas, but I have to explore those.

Cheers

You’re welcome, thanulee, thanks for the reply.

Here is the best I can think of at the moment.

Press play to see it work with different amounts of clones.

The idea is that it shows only clones that have an integer result of the square root of its ID.  Example, a square out of 9=3 or16=4, whereby 10 to 15 will not result in such and needs decimals to be precise. The Formula compares these, and if an integer is sufficient, it will show the clone.

So the number of clones you have to dial in will be much larger than the visible amount.

All the best

P.S.: here is the same setup as in post #3, but it uses Visibility, and has a Clone Counter added (Object Manager, icon R21).
