Welcome back….!

Is there way to make hairs like this with hair material settings…? Hair cut is last option.

Are you referring to the gradient color?
Of course, you can. Just map the tip and bottom color via gradient using the hair material.

Hi Imran,

Thanks for the image.

Please have a look at my little sketch below:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/bD35kNvRkuPG3hlaZF8A8L8nnfjSWryAlC3fE0ymmjl

As well as into these two pages:
https://help.maxon.net/us/#MHAIRMATERIAL-HAIRMATERIAL_GROUP_LENGTH
https://help.maxon.net/us/#MHAIRMATERIAL-HAIRMATERIAL_GROUP_COLOR

Note the Tip option, but I hope the gradient will do.

All the best

Imran,

Was that last post (#3) for me? I test everything; hence, I share files, as I think answering from memory isn’t really cutting it.

The settings in the Material Hair> Length are driven with the gradient, adjust this to shape what you need.

Let me know if you need anything else, I’m happy to look into it.

All the best

Imran,

Yes, I just wrote to the Admin team about the speed. It is not only on your end, and yes, it is annoying. Really sorry about that. … and attachments, yes, was one of my first tests. Soooo sorry.

Thanks for clearing it.

The Spherify can be adjusted (strength), so you have more control.

Thanks for your patience with this, it is all in the works.

Cheers.

P.S.: An alternative could be seen in the use of deformers. Render the first and the last frame to see the difference.
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/H2xIca1OORmslKcvb3bbzI16Fjc8tBw5ZOAU2bLMvDV

To be able to work with deformers, the Hair> Advanced> Deformers options must be on. The Deformer must be a child of the Hair object. It is a render-time effect only.
https://help.maxon.net/us/#OHAIR-HAIRSTYLE_GROUP_ADVANCED

I have turned the brush upside down to use the gravity and dynamic to shape it automatically, then the Simulate> Hair> Set Initial State was set and the Dynamic set to Rigid.

The null (parent) was rotated back. Then the Deformer was applied.

ENJOY
