Updates does not Install on Desktop

This is about R13 I purchased years ago. That time I had an issue with my computer for compatibility and was not abble to use at all.
Now I purchased a new computer and like to use my R13.
The computer downloads the updates, but not install the updates.
It asks me permission from the administrator.
I am the owner of the desktop and the administrator.
I can install other hardware updates to the same computer.
What do I need to do to install downloaded updates?
