NAB 2016 Rewind - Chad Ashley

Hi,

I was watching his presentation and in car animation, he used Character template “Animation Car”, which I did not found in my character template. It is a plugin and GSG any script….?

To repeat what he said is certainly not helping, Andre (Andreas?) build that rig. I guess if it would be available, then GSG would have it listed already.
Perhaps drop him a note, eventually it will open up some options for you.

Perhaps both together with an emphasis on CMotion as well as XPresso, might offer a lot of things needed.

(I remember a Drive/Fly simulation in that way, I bought it in 2001, and it took the data from the floor mesh, then calculated the inertia/centrifugal powers and exported this back to the 3D app in a kind of a character set up. It was Dongle based and vanished from the market a few years later. It was bundled back then with Motion/Dance animation package.)

To create things on ones own, and explore the options, overcome obstacles and have those creative-accidents, I wouldn’t want miss that at any time! There is a deep satisfying feeling to it, that I just miss with 3rd party solutions. Just saying …, as I know how much work and confront those complex set-ups might present along the way. I wish you a lot of great moments along the way! :o) Go for it!
