Help!, I’m at my whits end with video that is flashing sporadically. In a complete random way some of my video textures render with a higher luminance level
I’m on R13 with a render farm of both Macs & PCS. I have a sunlight rig from Greyscale gorilla applied. to the project.
I’ve tried all these things:
-Making sure everything is 29.97
-Rendering with and without linear workflow
-Tried both QTs and Tiff sequences
-turned off the PCs on my render farm (I submit from a Mac)
-Rendered only with one computer.

I’m attaching the two different frames

Did you try making #99 Carl Edwards the winner? I bet that’ll fix it wink

Just to confirm, by “rendered only with one computer” do you mean that you rendered it directly in C4D, not through NET?

Are the frames with the higher luminance always the same, or is it random? If you render that frame in C4D, is it brighter?

Are you using a Glow effect?

It seems I have fixed it. I went back to trying the .tiff files again.  I discovered through reading other blogs that my .tif files have to all be copied to the render server, then imported into the texture, and then the calculate button is clicked. I’m re-renderinng now, with much more optimism.
