Hi folks.

I’m looking for a tutorial that can help me create center beveled text that has a serif. I have attached a sample of the effect I’m trying to get. I realize this effect isn’t easy and can’t be handled by the bevel tool or the bevel setting for text.

Any tutorials you can suggest to help get this effect would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Kellymac,

Thank you for the tutorial suggestion.
I feel like this effect should be achievable.

If you post in the Cineversity Q & A, a more C4D savy user could possibly help you achieve that effect. smile

Cheers,
Michelle

Even though the text in this tutorial doesn’t have a serif, it was incredibly helpful;

Theres no audio.

Thanks.

You’re welcome, Kellymac.

If you experiment with it a little bit, you might find other shapes and uses. It is a side product from a longer “trial and error” to reproduce in a fast and simple way shapes like the back of a newer iMac. ;o)

Enjoy your weekend
