I wanted to know is Trapcode Particular just slow to work with?  I am on a new Mac Studio with an Apple M1 Ultra with 128 GB Ram.  I do not use particular that often but would assume I shouldn’t have performance issues.  I know a lot of variable will effect performance but I just want to verify if I am doing something wrong.  I am working on 20 second 4K animation.  Its just a png image sequence with some imported nulls from Cinema 4D and a camera a light(Emitter).  I am using the GPU for the render and tried CPU and its still slow.  In Particular I am only using one system with 350 particles a sec with .5 life. `I have media cache to external SSD and have 116 GB Ram allocated. Any advice would be great or is it just slow to work with?

I have allocated half of my RAM in an M1 Max, and a Particular setup (100K particles) takes in UHD around 20ms to 400ms. (Several systems)

Use the Activity Monitor app and the Render Time indicator in Ae to see the best settings.

I assume with a new Mac; you have the newest Ae installed.
