How to Make a Command for Default View

Hello,

I am trying to make a default view be ctrl 0. I understand how to do this in Command Manager, but I don’t know how to make it attached to such a default view. And without using a camera. Like the default view that Cinema 4D opens to every time you open it.

Think of how in Adobe Illustrator, the whole page fits to the screen when you click ctrl 0. I basically want to do that. Can anyone help me on how to do this?

I’m using S26.

Hi jacob.peters,

How about assigning Control + 0 to “Frame All”.

In 2D applications, like Ai or Ps, the “Control + 0” can take advantage of the document size. Something a 3D scene doesn’t have.

You could just press H while the “mouse” indicator is in the view you like to frame.

All the best
